Anhui relic goes on Shaanxi exhibition
Updated: 2013-04-28

An exhibition of precious relics discovered in Central China opened to the public on Sunday in Xi'an, capital of China's northwest Shaanxi province.

The exhibition, which consists of 109 rare artifacts, went on display beginning Sunday and will run through July 28 at the Qinshihuang Mausoleum Museum. A special app for the exhibition will be available online throughout the duration of the exhibit's run.

According to Liu Yunhui, deputy director of the Shaanxi Provincial Administration of Cultural Heritage, the precious relics were acquired from a total of 7 museums and 2 heritage research institutes from Henan, Hubei, Hunan and Anhui provinces, all of which help to reveal the cultural development and distinctive regional characteristics of Central China.
