As of March 13, more than 1,000 objects have been excavated from some 130 tombs over 2,000 years old near Fangxing Avenue in Hefei, capital of East China's Anhui province, local authorities said.
Archaeologists speculated that these graves belonged to a large, rich family from the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC - AD 24) based on the unearthed cultural relics.
