Voters asked to pick best peanut butter recipe(AP)Updated: 2007-01-15 14:58 ORRVILLE, Ohio -- From peanut butter sushi to tacos, online voters have a
chance to pick the most creative twists on a peanut butter sandwich by kid
chefs. Online voters choose the five finalists for judging in New York in March. The four runners-up will get $2500 scholarships. The ten semifinalists-ranging in age from six to 12 -- and their parents devised creations including a caramel apple turtle, a pita bread fruit rainbow and Texas-style wraps all containing peanut butter. The tacos are pancakes with peanut butter, cream cheese and fruit, while the sushi is made of peanut butter, cream cheese and fruit rolled in crepes with chocolate yogurt for dip and pretzel rods for chopsticks.
