Spanish tenor Jose Carreras will hold a concert at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on April 1, 14 years after his China debut at the same venue.

Accompanied by the symphony orchestra of the China National Opera House, Carreras will perform a program of classics, including E Lucevan le Stelle from Tosca, All I Ask of You from Phantom of the Opera and Torna a Surriento. He will also partner with a Chinese guest singer to perform Chinese works.

Carreras will also stage a concert at the Guangzhou Opera House on April 7.
