The Forbidden City Concert Hall will stage a series of events to celebrate the Year of the Dragon in 2012.

These include performances of Peking Opera, solo concerts by established Chinese singers and traditional cross-talk.

Nine renowned Peking Opera masters, including Wang Rongrong and Zhao Baoxiu, will perform classic Peking Operas on two nights. Young artists from the Beijing Peking Opera Theater will also take the stage.

Singers from the older generation, including Liu Bingyi and Liu Jing, will bring two evenings of nostalgic music. Famous comedians, including Li Jindou, Wang Qianxiang and Li Zengrui, will treat cross-talk fans to two nights of laughs.
