Zhu Legeng's solo exhibition of more than 100 recent pottery works recently opened at the Chinese Museum of Women and Children in Beijing.

The exhibits include Zhu's Red and Green series, which draws inspiration from traditional Chinese folk art but is created with modern flair.

The show also displays photos of large-scale pottery works Zhu created specifically for different spaces, such as the Shanghai Pudong International Airport and the St Regis Hotel in Tianjin.

Zhu, director of the Arts Creation and Research Center of the Chinese National Academy of Arts, has staged exhibitions in the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Singapore and South Korea.
