Michelin three-star chef Marc Veyrat will come to Beijing's Summit Club's restaurant to prepare two dinners on the evenings of Jan 29 and Jan 30. Born in France in 1950, Veyrat is one of four chefs in the world to have been twice granted the Michelin three stars status. He is also the only gastronome to earn full scores from Gault et Millau, one of his homeland's most influential restaurant guides.

Veyrat is acclaimed for innovation in creating new dishes. He uses molecular gastronomy, which scientifically monitors the physical and chemical changes that occur during cooking. He also incorporates herbs from the French Alps, using these and flowers in place of flour, milk, cream and butter. He prepares his dishes at a precise 195 C.

Summit Club is a Mediterranean restaurant conceptualized according to Neo-Classicalism. Antiques, famous paintings and statues created according to 19th-century European conventions adorn the establishment. The dining area can accommodate up to 50 guests.
