KANDAHAR, Afghanistan - Two explosions rocked Kandahar in south Afghanistan and gun shots are heard on Saturday, an official said.

The target is the police headquarters in Kandahar city and firing is continuing, the official added, but declined to be identified, saying details would be released later.

Clashes with police have been going on in three different points of Kandahar city and firing of small arms is continuing.
