New Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihito Sengoku said Tuesday that the country's foreign and defense ministers will remain from the previous administration.

There are new faces too. He says Prime Minister-elect Naoto Kan's new administration will be full of "youth" and "freshness," including popular names such as Renho, a former television announcer who goes by one name.

Yoshihiko Noda, the former senior vice finance minister, will take Kan's place leading the finance department.

The new government is to be officially sworn in by the emperor on Tuesday evening.
