China's naval fleet off to Somalia to fight piracy

Missile destroyer Lanzhou sets off in Zhanjiang, South China's Guangdong province, on June 30 to carry out escort missions in the Gulf of Aden off the coast of Somalia. China dispatched the dock landing ship Kunlun Mount, missile destroyer Lanzhou and four shipboard helicopters to the Gulf, together with supply ship Weishanhu in service as its sixth flotilla of ships on anti-piracy mission Wednesday, with more than 1,000 people on board.
