China's daily crude steel output rebounds in early Dec

SHANGHAI - China's daily crude steel output rose to 1.667 million tons in the first 10 days of December, up 2 percent from the last 10 days of November, Reuters reported Monday, citing data from the China Iron & Steel Association.

Production was higher as steel mills have gradually resumed operations after a widespread effort to reduce energy consumption in recent months, the report said.
