China aims to develop 10b-yuan software firms

China plans to have more than 10 software companies each with annual sales exceeding 10 billion yuan ($1.5 billion) over the next five years, the Bloomberg News reported Tuesday, citing report on Shanghai Securities News.

The government will not change its policy for supporting the industry, the report cited Zhao Xiaofan, vice-chairman of the China Software Industry Association, as saying.
