China's 109 State-owned enterprises (SOEs) made a total of 2.2 billion yuan ($333 million) in charitable donations in the first nine months of this year, people.com.cn reported on Friday, citing the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC).

Four SOEs -- China National Petroleum Corp (CNPC), CNOOC Ltd, Shenhua Group Ltd and China Mobile Ltd -- donated more than 100 million yuan each. CNPC tops the donors list with its 327.1 million yuan in donations through September.
