"As the fastest-growing premium brand in this country, Mercedes-Benz is experiencing a real boom in China," said Maier.

The company's automobile sales reached 74,070 units in the first seven months in China this year, jumping 134 percent over a year ago, much higher than the average growth rate of luxury segment of 86 percent in the same period.

And July turned to be the best month ever for Mercedes-Benz with 14,500 cars sold in China, an increase of 201 percent compared with the same month last year, and also a fast leap from the single-month sales of 8,000 units in January this year.
