"All the recharging station pilot projects, including the Hunan project, must be completed this year, and put into use," Naritech General Manager Ji Kan told chinadaily.com.cn on Tuesday after meeting with media.

The Hunan project is part of China's pilot project for electric vehicle recharging stations.

"A recharging station usually equips millions of yuan worth of electrical facilities, and the total investment could be up to 20 to 30 million yuan ($2.94 to $4.41 million), considering civil engineering and infrastructures," Ji added.

Naritech is the listed subsidiary of the State-owned power group State Grid.
