SHANGHAI: China Comics Games (CCG) Expo, an international cartoon exhibition and the only China expo focusing on the cartoon and online games industry, will be held in Shanghai from July 8 to 12.

Covering 20,000 square meters in exhibition area, the event has so far lured over 200 domestic and overseas cartoon and online games providers, said the organizer.

A series of seminars and roundtables will also be held in Suzhou and Shanghai to discuss the development of the cartoon industry in China, and the channels to lure more investment and financing to the sector.

The event is jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and the Shanghai Municipality.
