Xinjiang Markor Furniture Co, Ltd, a modern and export oriented Sino-foreign joint venture, was established on May 27, 1993. It has a registered capital of five million U.S. dollars. It is mainly engaged in producing high-grade home furniture and exporting it to the world market. The products are largely exported to the United States, Canada, Europe, Japan, and Australia. They are competitive in the world market. The company is a subsidiary of Markor International Furniture Co, Ltd, one of the largest furniture exporters in China.

The company possesses advanced production facilities, technologies and a large number of talents in furniture design, marketing, enterprise management, and technology development. It has introduced the SYMIX management system and adopted the internationally advanced MRP-II (manufacturing resources management system) to elevate its management, marketing and development, and design capacity to reach world first class levels. It has cultivated unique features in product design, resulting in rich corporate culture and lasting glamour.

In 2004, the company won 39.29 million U.S. dollars in export. The export values grew by 58.3 percent, 88.34 percent and 25.42 percent in 2002, 2003 and 2004 respectively.
