In 2006, 147 photographers, including 59 foreigners from 22 countries, joined in a program “Four Seasons of Xinjiang”, which was jointly organized by the State Council Information Office, China Photographers Association and the Xinjiang government. The program aims to capture the natural beauty, diverse folk cultures and the life improvements of various ethnic minorities inhabiting Xinjiang. Here are some photos selected from the program.
