3. Yunshi Mountain, the Starting Point of Long March

Yunshi Mountain is 18 kilometers to the west of Ruijin. In 1934, central authorities of the Communist Party moved here. And later in the year, they launched the well-known "Long March" at the Yunshi Mountain.

The bus fare is 30 yuan and it will take you two and a half hours from Ganzhou to Ruijin. And there are many scheduled flights from major cities to Ganzhou. For example, from Beijing to Ganzhou, the total price is about 1500 yuan, or some 215 US dollars, 3 hours. Then take a bus to Ruijin is more convenient. So if you don't have much time for your trip, try the flight.
Best Time to Go: Ruijin belongs to subtropical hill area with a humid monsoonal climate. It has four distinct seasons and abundant rain. In spring and summer, the rainfall is centralized. The best time for traveling is spring and autumn.
