'The Only Way is Essex' stars Lauren Goodger and Mark Wright have split up.

The couple have called off their engagement just five months after getting betrothed on the reality TV show and Mark has asked Lauren to move her belongings out of his Essex apartment.

A spokesman for Mark told The Sun newspaper: "He has no comment, except to confirm it is over."

A source said: "This time pals thought the relationship would go the distance but it hasn't."

The couple have dated on and off since meeting when they were just 14 and although they weren't a couple during the first series of 'TOWIE' they eventually reconciled.

At the end of last year's series it was revealed the 24-year-old heartthrob had been sleeping with Lauren whilst also dating fashion worker Lucy Mecklenburgh.

But after flings with Sam Faiers and 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' beauty Kayla Collins, Mark got back with Lauren and proposed to her on the same day in March in front of the 'TOWIE' cameras.
