Queens of the Stone Age singer Josh Homme has become a dad again.

The rocker's wife, Spinnerette frontwoman Brody Dalle, gave birth to a son on August 12 and the couple have named their new arrival Orrin Ryder.

The tot weighed in at a healthy 7 lbs 12oz but Brody waited until Saturday (20.08.11) to announce the happy news via her twitter page.

She tweeted: "We got us a very handsome Red headed Baby Boy - Orrin Ryder Homme born on Friday the 12th of august , 7 lbs 12oz . Weez totes IN-LOVE. (sic)"

After revealing Orrin's arrival to the world, Brody was inundated with congratulatory messages from online well-wishers, something she was thrilled with.

She wrote: "Somehow you already knew this? Thank you for all the lovely wishes and such xxx"

Orrin is the second child for Josh, 38, and Brody, 32. The couple - who married in 2007 - already have a five-year-old daughter Camille Harley Joan - together.
