Kirstie Alley claims people keep asking her to pay child support.

The 60-year-old actress - who has two adopted children , William, 17, and 16-year-old Lillie, from her second marriage to Parker Stevenson - has urged those trying to dodge their responsibilities to "man up" and do the right thing.

She tweeted: "For any of u who constantly ask me to pay your child support...MAN Up!! Take responsibility for your CHILDREN!!...(sic)"

Kirstie's son recently got engaged to his girlfriend, 18-year-old Lauren Sargeant, and while the actress was thrilled with their news, she admits she is not an expert on marriage.

She said: "I feel good because they're really in love ... You know, I was married [when] I was just 19 years old and that didn't work.

"Then I was married when I was 30 years old and that's when everyone said you should get married and that didn't work.

"So, I don't think I'm an expert on the subject. So, I think if somebody's in love and wants to be married then let them be in love and get married."
