First marine exhibition to be held in GZ

The 2005 international marine and trade exhibition of China will be held in Guangzhou from May 11th to 13th for the first time.

Guangzhou is one China's three main shipbuilding bases in China. More than 400 corporations from over 10 countries and regions including Germany, Holland, Norway, will exhibit the latest ship building techniques and show off the latest in marine technology.

An industry insider said that China's ship building development trends and the rapid development of ship construction on Nansha Longxue Island by Guangzhou government inspired the first international exhibition to be held in the South.
