| | | Flat-owner sues developer for rheumatism A Guangzhou man who sued the developer of his apartment for placing a water tank below his flat - which he said had caused his rheumatism - has lost the case, reports Information Times. Li developed the condition half a year after he bought the apartment on the second floor, 1.5 metres below which is a water tank in a pump house. Considering that there was no other victim on the same floor, the judge dismissed the plea that a construction-planning defect led to Li's rheumatism, and said Li's condition might have been caused by the humid climate.
