Overweight students not 'excellent' Overweight students at a primary school in Ningbo of Zhejiang Province are not eligible for "Excellent Student" awards, reports Oriental Morning Post. Apart from performance in their studies, students' height and weight are checked to see if they meet standards set by educational authorities. School heads said the new standards are necessary given the growing number of fat kids because of bad diet habits.
