A hospital plans to become the first in Guangzhou to sell photos and videos of unborn babies to would-be parents, reports Xinhua News Agency.

The hospital has seen rising demand for the service, especially among white-collar workers and has spent 2 million-plus yuan (US$241,000) to import medical equipment capable of taking photos and videos besides other functions.

A set of photos and video is estimated to cost about 200 yuan (US$24). The gender of unborn babies will not be revealed because Chinese hospitals are not allowed to do so to avoid gender discrimination.
