Wife refuses to pay fine for philanderer

A 59-year-old man claimed that a 19-year-old prostitute was his girlfriend after they were caught having sex - and his wife refused to bail him out, reports Kuaibao News.

When police in Nanjing, capital of Jiangsu Province, questioned the pair on Saturday night, the girl appeared frightened but the man was calm, saying they were lovers.

But the truth was finally out and after failing to borrow money from friends to pay the penalty, the man had to call his wife - and she refused when she found out what the money was for.
