Chinese cyclist ready for solo global travel, for 2008 Games

Crossing the Pacific, he'll land at Mexico City (Mexico) and ride through all Games hosts in the American continent to reach Montreal (Canada), from where he will cross the Atlantic to Athens (Greece). He will end his visit to a cluster of European host cities, capped with a trip to Moscow (Russia), and from where he will ride back to Beijing.

Although his goal will be an incredible feat to achieve, it is not the final destination of Yang's ambitious plan.

"I hope I could get money from sponsors through this efforts and set up a foundation for kids," Yang said. "If this trip is successful, I'll go out again to raise more such funds."
