ABRSM seminar

Professor David Gwilt & Mrs Shirley Gwilt, regional consultants from the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music (ABRSM), are invited to give introductions to the ABRSM practical examinations, the diploma (performance) examinations and student recital (performances by candidates who achieved distinctions in the 2005 examinations). There will also be a seminar for teachers on "How to prepare students for examination?"

Morning session is free; afternoon session is 100 yuan per person. 21 January 2006 (Saturday), 9:30am to 4 pm, January 21 at the Yew Chung International School of Beijing, Honglingjin Park, 5 Houbalizhuang, Chaoyang District. Reservation is needed by 6 January 2006

Say it loud

Learn to prepare and deliver an impressive and memorable presentation for any audience. This event features experienced trainers as well as videotaped practice and feedback. It also focuses on using gestures, eye contact and other skills to maximize the impact of speaking to your audience. It is designed for professionals who must make presentations to managers, public media, customers and investors. Enrolment will be limited to 18 students. All about ideas

A seminar about ideas and why you need to train your business creativity. The seminar will focus on the importance of business creativity in the future and why we are less creative than we think, but more creative than we can imagine. Many amusing examples are given.
