Granny not dead yet though funeral held

An old woman came back to life in her coffin after a day-long funeral.

Zhong Jiaxiang, 86, was found "dead" on the morning of May 23. Though they hadn't called in a doctor to confirm her death, the family decided to hold a grand funeral for Zhong.

She was dressed up and laid in a coffin, and more than 200 relatives and friends attended her funeral in Xingshan County of Hubei Province.

But the next morning when people touched her hand to say farewell, she suddenly woke up.

Doctors said she might have suffered temporary shock, the Chutian Golden News reports.

So did all the guests at the funeral.

Vigilante leads cops to drug bust

Seeing his girlfriend tortured by drug addiction, a man bought a van, tracked down the drug dealer, and got him locked up, the Chutian Golden News reports.

When Chen Hua, the assumed name of the man in Wuhan of Hubei Province, first met his girlfriend, she was already addicted to drugs due to the influence of her ex-boyfriend, Zhao Tiangang.

To take "revenge," Chen followed Zhao every day in his van, trying to collect evidence to prove Zhao was a dealer.

After getting wind of a drug deal about to go down, Chen called the police. The police caught Zhao and two other people with 30 grams of heroin and 6,400 yuan (US$771) in cash.
