The woman purported to be the world's shortest, grew four centimetres over the past two months, Xinhua News Agency reports.

Zhu Haizhen, 21, was 79 centimetres tall and weighed 10 kilograms.

This January, Zhu, who lives in Nanchang of Jiangxi Province, went to a hospital in Nanjing to receive some treatment. She is now 83 centimetres tall and weighs in at 14 kilograms.

Zhu's family said that they are happy to see her becoming taller and don't care whether she keeps the record; They just want her to be happy.
