Golden loach find goes into annals of history

A golden loach, one of only three ever recorded in China, was recently
discovered in Qingyuan, a city about 60 kilometres from Guangzhou.
Loaches in China are always black and green or yellow. The golden specimen is
12 centimetres long and looks the same as any other loach except its colour.
Experts have verified it is a loach and say a genetic variation has resulted
in its golden colour, according to the Nanfang Daily.
