Shanghai's first drive-in cinema
A first for Shanghai is just round the corner as a drive-in movie theatre is set to open before Christmas in a square in the Pudong New Area of the city, reports the Wenhui Daily. The price will be 100 yuan (US$12) per car for three or four movies. As the cinema is surrounded by water on three sides, and there are no residences within a kilometre on its open side, sound and light will not be an issue. |
