As mobile phones become increasingly prevalent in schools, a few colleges in Dalian, a coastal city in Northeast China's Liaoning Province, are urging students to use cellphones in a considerate manner, reports Dalian Daily.

The school asks students to turn their cell phones to silent mode when they enter classrooms, library and meeting rooms; and not to answer the phone indoors or transmit obscene short messages.
