On Nov 19, leaders of Nanjing bureau of commerce and trade, head office of shopping basket program and other units released several next year's new policies concerning shopping basket program, which are oriented towards personalization, material benefit and safety.

Next year, Nanjing will newly build 20 standardized agriculture product supermarkets while renovating 170 of 196 current agriculture bazaars in accordance with the standard of supermarket.

Zhou Yibin, deputy head of Nanjing bureau of commerce and trade, introduces that the exact standards for renovation are diversified. But in a word, he said, we should make agriculture product markets beautiful and clean so that our civilians shopping in the agriculture product market is just like in a general merchandise store.

Additionally, we will reapprove qualifications of current spots selling quality-assured bean curd and quality-assured meat to weed out the merchants who do not measure up to the safe food project, letting consumers be easy to eat.
