Six people have been killed and more than 20 injured in a traffic accident that happened at yesterday.

According to a local eye witness, a bus plummeted into a mountain valley when turning a corner on the road around Shizushan Mountain, a local scenic spot.

Local farmers called for emergency medical help and five ambulances immediately rushed to the scene. By press time, all the injured had been sent to hospital and some are still in serious condition.

Overloading was blamed as the major cause for the accident and further investigation is underway.
