As one of the most prosperous periods in Chinese history, the Tang Dynasty developed a creative spirit that affected all aspects of life, including clothing, furniture, recreation and religion. The exhibit displays sculptures, silver sets, bronze mirrors, frescoes and instruments. These items were carefully chosen from the museum's collection in an effort to reflect the period. One third of the antiques are on display to the public for the first time. The setting features bright colours and open spaces.
