12th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair closes

The 12th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair closed May 16 with an actual turnover of 203.2 billion yuan, 23.42 percent more than last year.

Export turnover reached 17.7 billion yuan, with a growth of 7.35 percent from last year. Exports to countries and regions along the “One Belt, One Road” area amount to 13.7 billion yuan, accounting for 77.63 percent of the total exports.

The five-day event focused heavily on "Internationalization" witnessed a total of 2,297 exhibitors from China and over 40 countries and regions, attracting 5.87 million visitors, a year-on-year growth of 12.08 percent. The fair also included two new venues themed "maker culture" and "One Belt, One Road", organizing over 700 cultural events.

The International Cultural Industries Fair focuses on exhibition and exchange, committing to providing a trade platform for China's cultural industry products and projects. As the only national/internationalized and integrated cultural industries fair in China, it will not only promote the development of China's cultural industry, but also advance the globalization of Chinese cultural products.
