A series of photos show dolls designed by the Palace Museum travelling to the Fuling Tomb in Shenyang. The dolls, which have become an Internet sensation, toured the historical site just like the emperor used to patrol the ancient Shenyang city during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).

The Fuling Tomb, also known as the East Tomb, is the mausoleum of Nurhaci, the founding emperor of the Qing Dynasty, and his wife. It served as the main site for ritualistic ceremonies conducted by the imperial family during the Qing Dynasty. Located in the eastern part of Shenyang city, the Fuling Tomb was listed as world heritage site together with Qing Dynasty imperial tombs of Yongling Tomb and the Zhaoling Tomb in 2004.
