After the performance of La Sylphide, the National Ballet of China also performed El Testament d'Amelia (Amelia's testament). Choreographed by Wang Sizheng, a talented young dance choreographer from the National Ballet of China, it drew inspiration from classical guitar music adapted from a Catalan folk song.

As a tribute to the 60th anniversary of the Beijing Dancing Academy, El Testament d'Amelia made its debut in 2014. It mixes the style of music drama with the language of dance, and tells a tragedy about love, humanity and life.
