Nature is the best architect. A red beach, stretching three kilometers or so, and a 2.2-km-long landscape with marine abrasions, are a must-see at Liaoning Tuanshan National Marine Park in Yingkou, Northeast China's Liaoning province.

Formed as early as 1.8 billion years ago, the marine abrasion landscape at the national marine park in Northeast China has entertained tourists with all kinds of sea caves, sea stacks, and other geological features.

The marine park was approved as the only national marine park in December, 2014, which means that the country is devoted to strengthening the protection of geological heritage and marine ecology.

Naturally-occurring suaeda salsa thrives on the beach every April, and turns a breathtaking red every October, attracting visitors in autumn.
