Expo preparations in final stages

With just fifty-three days to go, the Shanghai World Expo's pavilions are in their final stage of construction, the China News Agency reported Monday.

Eighty percent of the pavilions for different countries are receiving interior decoration right now. And ninety percent of the company pavilions have been built already.

The wrap-up work inside the Expo Avenue is expected to be completed by the end of March.

The Shanghai Expo, stretching from May 1 to October 31, is expected to attract 70 million visitors, the organizers said.
