USA Pavilion launches recruitment drive in China

The USA Pavilion at the World Expo Shanghai 2010 has begun recruiting more than 200 staff in China.

The pavilion has teamed up with the International Venue Group (IVG), the pavilion's operator of the VIP, food and beverage, and retail services, for the search.

Full-time vacancies for gift store and food and beverage services include management, operations and logistics, chefs and wait staff, functions, finance and retail staff.

Potential applicants should have an understanding of the United States' culture, history, geography and current affairs, as well as being available to work full time in Shanghai from April to October, 2010. Most positions require a reasonable standard of Chinese and English.
