China, Britain to hold economic, financial dialogue

BEIJING - The third China-UK Economic and Financial Dialogue will be held in Beijing on November 9, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei announced here Wednesday.

Chinese Vice Premier Wang Qishan and UK Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne will co-chair the dialogue, in which high-level financial officials from the two countries will share their views, Hong said.

The annual dialogue was initiated in 2008.
