EU foreign policy chief to visit China

BEIJING - Catherine Ashton, the European Union's high representative for foreign affairs and security policy, will visit China from August 29 to September 4, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu announced here Monday.
According to Jiang, Ashton will co-chair the first China-EU Strategic Dialogue with Chinese State Councilor Dai Bingguo during the visit.
