The nation has provided non-reimbursable foreign assistance and interest-free or concessional loans for more than 2,100 projects to improve living conditions, establish agriculture, build infrastructure and construct public facilities.
China has supported to establish over 220 agriculture projects including farms, agriculture and educations centers, laboratories and other facilities.
It has aided nearly 700 initiatives in light industry, textiles, machinery, chemistry, electronics, construction and energy.
More than 440 infrastructure projects have been recipients of the nation's foreign aid, including constructions of roads, bridges, railways, power stations, vessels, ports, airports and postal and telecommunications systems.
Its aid in over 620 public projects include government facilities, residential buildings, stadiums, wells, schools and hospitals.
A number of projects have played a pivotal role in the development of recipient countries.
Technological co-op
China also enables technology transfer in projects, with its experts training local technicians and management staff.
Examples include widespread cooperation in farming, textiles, education, sports and hydropower.
Senior experts have also participated in planning long-term agricultural development, provided consultancy and undertaken geological surveys.
As well, centers have been set up for teaching and building capacity for local research.
The nation has also provided material support including office products, food, medicine, machinery, inspection facilities and transport vehicles.
Examples include 30 sets of container inspection equipment for the Philippines and regional aircraft and transport planes for Zimbabwe, Laos, Zambia and Bolivia.
