Chinese vice president arrives in Bangladesh for official visit

DHAKA - Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping arrived in Bangladeshi capital Dhaka on Monday for official visit.

Invited by Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wajed, Laotian Vice President Bounnang Vorachit, New Zealand Prime Minister John Key, and Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, Xi is scheduled to visit these four states.

It's also the first visit of a Chinese vice president to the four states.

Located on the subcontinent of South Asia, Bangladesh borders India and Myanmar, with a population of 147 million.
