Senior legislator meets Spanish guest

BEIJING - Chen Zhili, vice-chairwoman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature, here on Monday met with Ana Pastor, second vice-president of Spain's Congress of Deputies.
Both Chen and Pastor, who is also secretary of social affairs of Spanish People's Party, expressed the expectation to further deepen the relations between Communist Party of China and Spain's People's Party and boost exchanges and cooperation between the NPC and Spain's parliament at the meeting.
