One drowned, 6 missing after boat capsizes

CHONGQING - One person was drowned while six remained missing after a gritstone-loaded steel-hulled barge overturned Saturday in the Yangtze River section at a county of southwestern city of Chongqing, local maritime officials said.
Rescuers pulled out a body at around 4 pm, some 11 hours after "Haitian 448" overturned while docking at Zhongxian County section of the Yangtze River. Seven people, including the barge captain, were on board. Rescuers are still searching for the six others.
Chongqing maritime authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
