NANNING - Police in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region caught 40 illegal immigrants from Vietnam Friday morning, local police said.
The illegal immigrants were apprehended at a border checkpoint in Fangchenggang City at 9 a.m. on a bus heading toward south China's Guangdong Province, said a police spokesman.
The police at the checkpoint have detained the illegal immigrants for further investigation, he said.
